jQuery Mobile Tumblr Theme
I have decided to share with the world the mobile theme I’ve developed for Tumblr.
You can see it in action here:

Of course, it’s also viewable on this site (http://e-tel.eu) if you visit it from a mobile device (sorry Nokia, Tumblr doesn’t consider your browser a proper mobile browser…).
Also, there are some screenshots taken on my HTC Desire at the end of this post.
How to install:
- Grab the theme from here.
- Unzip it somewhere on your harddrive
- Open it in your favorite text-only editor (notepad? I prefer either notepad++ or Geany) and change the Google Analytics Account (optional) as well as the Facebook link (optional as well)
- Go to Tumblr, choose your tumblelog from the top line there (yes, click on it!) then select from the left menu “Customize appearance”
- In the left menu now scroll down until you find the “Advanced” option
- Make sure “Use optimized mobile layout” is checked
- Now scroll up until you find the “Pages” option
- If you already have a page called “/iphone-theme” click on “Edit”
- If you don’t have one, click on “+Add a page”
- Choose “Custom Layout” instead of “Standard Layout”
- Page URL has to be “/iphone-theme”
- “Show a link to this page” has to be UNCHECKED!
- Copy all the contents from the text-only editor (notepad?) and paste it into the big text area here
- Click on “Create page” / “Save page”
